Non CDL Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Duties • Operate various types of vehicles including vans, box trucks, and commercial vehicles for deliveries. • Follow designated routes for timely delivery of goods to customers or warehouses. • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. • Willing to stay over the road 2-3 weeks at a time • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Skills • Proficient in route driving with a solid understanding of local roadways. • Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver preferred. • Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently, with experience in heavy lifting as needed. • Familiarity with operating a box truck or similar vehicles is advantageous. • Clean driving record. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
