PRN Inpatient Urology Nurse Practitioner – CHRISTUS Health, Tyler, TX

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established urology team at our Tyler, TX location.

Position Details:

• Inpatient Rounding

• 5 MDs

• 5 Advanced Practice Clinicians

• The Urology inpatient Nurse Practitioner will handle consults, allowing physicians to focus on surgeries and procedures.

• The inpatient Nurse Practitioner also takes first call for the on-call physicians, performs patient rounding, handles in-basket messages, documentation notes, manages orders, and adjusts treatment plans per the physician.

• The PRN position helps cover high census periods and weekend shifts.

• Robust Multispecialty Network: Over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers across 41 specialties in 82 clinic locations throughout Northeast Texas.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed in the state of TX or be eligible for licensure

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner

• Experienced Nurse Practitioner preferred
