Nurse Practitioner / Oncology

Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a CRNP for its Medical Oncology service. Currently, the team includes two physicians, two nurse practitioners and ancillary personnel including dietician and social workers. Our hospital-based group has three locations in the Greater Youngstown, Ohio region.

The position includes providing outpatient services and physician support at multiple locations, with opportunity for inpatient rounding to support our Medical Oncologists. Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to strengthen the cancer treatment team. Oncology or hospital/specialty experience preferred. Experience with end of life also a plus.

Our services include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and a broad array of oral chemotherapy drugs. The Oncology program participates in national cooperative and vendor sponsored clinical trials. Mercy Health Youngstown is committed to increasing offerings of multidisciplinary site-specific tumor boards and clinics with dedicated nurse navigators which currently include breast, lung, GI, H&N, and GU.
