NURSE PRACTITIONER (Women’s Health Outpatient)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Women’s Health outpatient team in Calvert, Maryland. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women’s health, adept at patient education, and skilled in managing a variety of gynecologic and reproductive health needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive women’s health services in an outpatient setting, including wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, and management of gynecologic conditions.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, order and interpret tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Offer counseling and education to patients on preventive health measures, reproductive planning, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Board certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with relevant women’s health experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of outpatient women’s health experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
