Nurse Practitioner-Rheumatology

Banner University Medical Group -Tucson is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient rheumatology care. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner with experience, or a new graduate with appropriate training, to be part of an established and growing program.

Service Coverage: M-F 8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm | No Call

Workload Assignment: 9 4-hour sessions/week. 16 patients/day

Location: South Campus Rheumatology Clinic

Essential Functions and Required Qualifications:

- DEA with prescriptive authority required

- FNP or ACNP designation with AZ license eligibility

- Ambulatory experience preferred, rheumatology experience a plus

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care

- Dedication to providing excellent care in a dynamic, multi-specialty, outpatient practice
