OBGYN Laborist Opportunity - Syracuse, NY

St. Josephs Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified OB/GYN to join our established and respected team of physicians. We offer an outstanding opportunity for OB/GYN physicians who are passionate about providing comprehensive care and working alongside excellent colleagues. Our obstetrics/gynecology specialists provide a vast array of services, including care for patients with normal and high-risk pregnancies, as well as a wide range of gynecologic and womens health concerns.

St. Josephs Health OB/GYN program is a robust program with an average of 1,700 deliveries annually. Our comprehensive team consists of midwifery, OB/GYN, MFM, and Level 3 NICU services. We are looking to fill a Laborist role which is exclusively inpatient focusing on managing patients in labor, overseeing routing and complex deliveries, and responding to OBED and GYN emergency room patients. Laborist coverage is 24 hours in house and full time is 7 shifts per month.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Interest in practicing a mix of obstetrics & gynecology, including surgery
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent, team-oriented care

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary range $290,000-$305,000
• Extra shift compensation available
