The Mount Sinai Health System seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology System Medical Director for its Ambulatory Services at Mount Sinai Hospital!

Responsibilities
The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world-renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai's OB/GYN Division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education. We pursue all dimensions of these three components, considering them inseparable elements of the art and science of medicine.
Position Description:
- Ensure Compliance with NYS Prenatal Care Regulations
- Ensure compliance with Medicare Teaching Physicians rules (TPR) β This relates to supervisory role of the attending for all teaching casesΒ
- Work with Ambulatory Care Medical Directors to ensure full alignment of Obstetrical Care provided to patients across every site in our OBGYN Health System Β
- Oversee and manage Performance Improvement program including metrics for Quality Improvement (This should mimic the workflows and metrics in place at MSH)
- Oversee and ensure adherence to scope of practice guidelines and competency metrics for all obstetrical providers including:
- Physicians, Midwives, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners
- Partner with residency program directors and fellowship program directors to ensure that all educational goals and metrics are met
- Provide medical care in high-functioning environment
- Benefit from the educational, research, and clinical programs of a nationally ranked Medical School
- Fully integrated Electronic Health Record
- Additional support staff

Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
Compensation range from 310K to 367K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
