About you and this role:
Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Document Management System (ODMS) and Digital Manufacturing Application (DMA) Focal Point for the FS-2 Ethylene Production located in Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).
FS-2 is a new facility that will be constructed and started up as part of the Path2Zero Fort Saskatchewan (P2Z) program. The FS-2 facility will eventually reach 2,500 kta capacity and be Dow’s largest single train Ethylene facility. The plant will also be Dow’s first Carbon neutral Ethylene facility.
The ODMS Coordinator Lead supports the business in maintaining the Operations Document Management System (ODMS) and maximizing value from ODMS use in the department. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and/or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. May act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others. The Digital Manufacturing Application (DMA) Focal Point is responsible for effective support of digital manufacturing applications for the department.Â
Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain overall ODMS efforts for the business in the department.

Coordinates and works with other ODMS support and implementation roles to "implement" and "maintain" the ODMS.

Acts as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system.

Supports all element owners in the department.

Drives the Plan DO Check Act cycle of continuous improvement.

Works with Business/Department Leadership to identify organization level opportunities.

Coordinates and facilitates the Management System Reviews.

Support implementation and utilization of digital manufacturing applications (DMA project applications) and other digital applications utilized in the department.

Identify, report, and help resolve problems with the digital applications and mobile solution technology.
Experience:
-
Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma). In lieu of degree, 10 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma is required.

A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing or other related field is required.

A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.
