Office Administrative Assistant
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
City Light & Power, Inc. (CLP) is seeking an Office Administrative Assistant for our corporate location. CLP has built a reputation as an innovative, reliable, and responsive private Utility Development Leader. We support the federal government, military institutions, municipalities, and major utilities across the country with financing, design, engineering, construction, and ongoing operations and maintenance for electrical transmission and distribution systems.
The Office Administrative Assistant will provide office coordination and support across Company departments requiring exceptional multi-tasking skills and the ability to oversee special projects while handling a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and handle logistics for company meetings including Engineering Week, Project Manager Week, Office Coordinator Week, etc.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations as requested by departments.
- Administrator of the Engineering Time Keeping System.
- Assist with registration of trade shows working with marketing team to ensure all supplies are on site on schedule.
- Enhance existing office processes to ensure maximum automation and efficiency.
- Provide front desk receptionist backup support.
- Administer Company travel system.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers, e.g. travel agency, local hotels, vending and catering companies.
- Work with HR and IT Departments to maintain computer/phone supplies stock in office.
- Track warranty of computers and phones making recommendations on replacing stock.
- Work with Marketing Department to ensure CLP and CLPE swag is maintained for company events.
- Coordinate all company events.
- Be the "go-to" person for tech support with Microsoft Teams Conference rooms.
- Special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years supporting office staff in an administrative role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Post-Secondary education highly preferred.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Experience in office management or combination of administrative and office management experinece required
- Exemplary planning and time management skills required.
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and the community.
- Handle confidential information, discernment, and judgement with complete integrity.
- Experience with the setting up and management of virtual meetings and tools e.g. GoToMeetings, conference calls.
- Proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Self-starter who sets priorities and drives deliverables to execution with minimal supervision
- Works well in a team environment, offering suggestions and improvements to processes.
- Excellent formal and informal written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take proactive ownership of role, and maintain strong sense of responsibility/accountability for high quality output.
- Energetic self-starter with a positive βcan doβ attitude.
- Inspires trust and confidence in others.

Benefits & Compensation:
- We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.
- Hourly payrate range: $22.00-$30.00 based on experience plus eligible for participation in Short Term Incentive Plan.
- We reserve the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range based on factors unrelated to sex.
