Office Cleaner/ Janitor

JANITORIAL/CUSTODIAN POSITION AVAILABLE FOR INSIDE/ OUTSIDE OF OFFICE BUILDING $16/hourly East Mt. Houston and 59 North area. (zip 77016) Requirements:  Must be 18 Years or older.  Must be able to work between 1:00pm to 9:00 pm Sunday thru Thursday (hours are suggested as you may leave when you're done, we're thinking it will take between 5-7 hours for one person to clean) Employee is responsible for sweeping, mopping, dusting and general cleaning of an 8,000 square foot office building. Employee will be responsible for cleaning inside of building (bathrooms included), and some light cleaning outside (handrails and sweeping / cleaning doors). Supplies furnished by employer. Duties and Responsibilities:  Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned  Informs supervisor of needed supplies  Removes trash and takes to dumpster  Be willing and able to use housekeeping equipment -- mops, brooms, dusters, etc.  Maintains and cleans all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping daily.  Cleans, monitors and maintains restrooms, hallways and the entrance areas  Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment  Replenishes paper products in kitchen and bathrooms.  Ensure outside walkways are swept, and area is tidy which includes cleaning of the handrails.  Follows housekeeping schedule outlined by the immediate supervisor.  Other duties may be assigned, as required by scope of work or customer needs. This will be a physically demanding position which includes walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand (when necessary).
