Job Description

This role will be part of Global Markets Operations and will be assigned to Corporate FX and FX Options/ Derivatives desk primarily for the sake of underlying exposures. The team is responsible for trade validation, Affirmation, confirmation, Settlement and reconciliation of OTC FX Contracts. The team also is responsible for NFRR. The candidate knowledge of applicable rules, laws and regulations will be an added advantage. The candidate would be able perform role of a maker, prepare MIS and providing requisite data to Auditors. The candidate should look for process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Exposure Monitoring for OTC FX Contracts, Option Contracts and foreign Currency Derivatives and be a support to the Corporate FX as well Option/Derivative Desk.
  • Well versed with OTC FX Processing.
  • Ensure accurate processing of trades.
  • Maker role for some of the desk activities.
  • Engage with Stakeholders including Business, Compliance, Finance, Technology for constructively resolving any queries.
  • Participate in various process improvement initiatives/ projects as required.

Required Skills

  • Experience in back-office processes relating to all Treasury products especially FX.
  • Knowledge of settlement of FX Contracts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of regulations governing the OTC FX Market.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Ensure timelines on the tasks at the desk.
  • Ability to work against stiff deadlines and manage work pressure.
