On-the-Job Training (OJT) Construction (Vermont): Pike is seeking a safety-minded, qualified individuals to work on our Construction Team as part of the Vermont On-the-Job training (OJT) program. The selected individuals will perform a combination of activities under the supervision of a skilled highway construction worker to familiarize her/him with highway construction. The activities will include, but not be limited to raking, traffic control, clean up, and small equipment operation. This position is for 520 hours. Classification: Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Must be willing and eager to learn about the construction industry.
• The willingness to work extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont when needed.
• A valid driver's license.
