Job Description

Responsibilities will include preparation of clinically relevant publications and application and securing of grant funding. This candidate will be directly involved in the education of medical students and residents while providing outstanding patient care to the children at North Carolina Children's Hospital.

Educational Requirements
MD or MD/PhD trained and Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit: 1. A strong interest in research; 2. A proven record of securing extramural funding or clear potential to do so; 3. evidence of excellence in clinical care and educational contributions.
