Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
Role Description: The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the implementation, compliance and ongoing curation of our F&I and dealer document library within our Retail Solution products. The Operations Manager is self-directed with proven capabilities to manage and understand finance transactions, dealership operations, and act as an independent operator to create, review, and analyze technical requirements for our F&I and dealer document library. This individual will ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies, with expertise in dealership F&I processes and automotive industry compliance.

Responsibilities
F&I and Dealer Forms Library Management:
- Oversee and Manage: Supervise the creation, maintenance, and updates of our standard F&I (Finance & Insurance) and dealer forms library.
- Technical Requirements Analysis: Review and analyze technical specifications for all standard documents required by dealers during vehicle transactions.
- Compliance Risk Reduction: Understand the strategic document plan and its impact on minimizing compliance risk for our dealers.
Legal Compliance and Documentation:
- Government Affairs Liaison: Collaborate with Government Affairs to stay informed about legal changes across all 50 states.
- Legal Counsel Partnership: Work closely with legal counsel to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in document creation and maintenance.
- Internal Documentation Development: Create internal documentation to educate stakeholders on new document revisions.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
- Metrics Tracking: Monitor performance metrics related to the document library and dealer consumption.
- Usage Trends Analysis: Analyze data to identify usage trends and propose solutions to enhance dealer acceptance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Share findings and plans with key internal stakeholders and business leaders.
Strategic Implementation and Maintenance:
- Platform Integration: Lead the strategic initiative to integrate the new library into our retail solution platform.
- Overall Library Support: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to maintain and support the document library.
WHO YOU ARE
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years experience in a related field ​
- Strong understanding of vehicle transactions and required F&I documents
- Strong understanding of CRM, DMS and Digital Contracting products
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams with the ability to gain proficiency in other role specific software
- Proficient with automotive compliance guidelines
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify problems and initiate corrective and preventative actions
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven atmosphere
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, and ability to lead through influence and navigate effectively within the organization to deliver results
Drug Testing
To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
