This leader will oversee the Plumbing Service Department while driving the strategic expansion of the Mechanical Service Division. Position Summary: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, profitability, and growth of the Plumbing Service Department while spearheading the development of the Mechanical Service Division. This role requires a hands-on leader who can implement strategic business initiatives, improve operational efficiencies, and develop high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and HVAC/mechanical service operations, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to scale business units successfully. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, manage, and grow the Plumbing Service Department, ensuring operational excellence and profitability. • Develop and execute a strategic plan for expanding mechanical service operations, including HVAC and mechanical systems. • Implement standardized processes, performance metrics, and operational efficiencies to drive revenue growth. • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, ensuring profitability and sustainability. • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of service technicians, dispatchers, and managers to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. • Strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the commercial plumbing and mechanical service markets. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. • Collaborate with leadership to align company goals, marketing strategies, and operational procedures with growth objectives. Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role within the plumbing and/or mechanical services industry. • Strong background in operations management, business development, and team leadership. • Proven success in scaling service departments and driving revenue growth. • Financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, and cost control. • Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical service operations. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. • Ability to implement and oversee KPIs, SOPs, and business development strategies. • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. • Relevant industry certifications and licenses preferred.
