What you'll do:

As an Operational Buyer you will support Eaton manufacturing plants and other Eaton locations in the EMEA region with operational procurement activities from our Center of Excellence CoE office in Budapest. You will:

  • Procure materials following plant and corporate regulations (QA, SCM)
  • Has direct communication with suppliers regarding material usage as per forecast, gather data for forecast
  • Process purchase requisitions and monitors orders, ensuring suppliers deliver goods on time
  • Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set
  • Maintain purchase info record and other purchasing data (eg. unit price change,supplier lead time, MOQ,MOV,single/dual sourced..)
  • Update database and list of qualified suppliers
  • Gather information and prepares regular and ad-hoc reports (KPI reports, material avalability, open order book, unconfirmed / past due, etc.)
  • Utilize all digital tools available for SCM for maximize efficency (Eg. Daylight, Kinaxis RapidResponse, GPS Power App, One Part and other)

Qualifications:

  • College/University Degree
  • 2+ years experience in Purchasing/ Procurement/ Material Management

Skills:

  • Fluent English language capabilities, other European language knowledge is a plus
  • MS Office skills (Sharepoint, Power BI, Excel)
  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Vista, BaaN, ...)
  • Negotiation skills
  • Understanding of Procurement/Material Management of a manufacturing environment
  • Capability to independently gather, analyze data and make corrective actions based on that
  • Proactive Can Do Attitude
  • High level of accuracy
  • Continuous improvement mindset
