Operational Controls Analyst Location: Henderson, NV 6 months • Location: • Plano, TX (HQ W2-5D) OR Henderson, NV (TFSB Office) • Hybrid position – As of now - 3 days a month onsite Job Details: • We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and talented professional with strong organizational and critical problem-solving skills to join client Operational Controls department and help us drive operational excellence across the bank. • Evaluate the effectiveness of client operational controls within the First Line of Defense and the broader Operational Risk Management framework. Support risk mitigation efforts by conducting control testing, identifying deficiencies, and collaborating with originations, operations, and servicing teams to design and implement corrective actions. Regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s) and support regulatory exams and audit inquiries. • Requirements: Top Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Not Mandatory. • 2-5 years of experience in banking operations, internal audit, or risk management within the financial services or banking industry. • Excellent organizational, communication, documentation, and project management skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment to meet required deliverables. • Self-starter with the ability to challenge and influence others, build trusted relationships, and deal constructively with conflict. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Added Bonus: • Strong understanding of banking regulations and control frameworks. • Familiarity with banking or financial services products, including commercial lending, auto finance, deposit operations, and mortgage lending. • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Lucid Chart/Visio. • Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, & Compliance) tools (e.g. Archer, LogicManager, ServiceNow, Riskonnect, etc.).
