Job description

An Operations Technology Engineer is a critical member of our organizationโ€™s OT team. They focus on the integration, management, and optimization of technology systems that drive our manufacturing operations in North America.

Responsibilities

ยท Design, deploy, and maintain operational technology systems.

ยท Monitor and manage operational performance and security.

ยท Respond to operational technology issues in a timely manner.

ยท Analyze data to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize costs.

ยท Assess vulnerabilities and implement security controls.

ยท Write functional requirements / specification documents.

ยท Collaborate with IT and OT team members as well as 3rd party vendors.

ยท Develop disaster recovery plans for critical OT infrastructure.

ยท Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in operational technology.

Qualifications

ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.

ยท 5+ years of related experience in a large enterprise IT environment.

ยท Significant experience in operations technology, firewall management, and networking protocols.

ยท Well-developed analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.

ยท Knowledge of Industry protocols such as DNP and the use of the Protocol Analyzers to analyze data traffic.

ยท Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders.

ยท Demonstrates accountability, transparency, and integrity.

Desired Skills:

ยท Experience with Hirschmann and Fortinet products.

ยท Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNA, SANS, GSEC, ISC, ISC2, CEH, GCED, and GPEN.

ยท Good knowledge of Standards (ISO 2700x, IEC 62443, NIST).
