Job Description
The Operations Project Manager – Consumer Packaged Goods will oversee and manage full item life cycle(s) processes, coordinating timelines with cross-functional project teams. This includes but is not limited to item commercialization, sales analytics, inventory management, and demand planning, with a strong overall emphasis on robust soft skills and customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Support Sales Team: Build trust with the sales team by handling all details and thoroughly preparing them achieve sales goals. Keep the sales team organized and focused.
• Program Launch Success: Deliver successful program launches by ensuring accurate and timely execution, maximizing time and resources & ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Project Management:Lead end-to-end project management for new product innovation and optimization, ensuring timely go-to-market execution and milestone achievement.
• Customer ServiceCoordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless execution of product launch and commercialization activities.
• Timeline Management:Develops, leads and maintains operational timelines and constantly coordinates with all stakeholders to communicate the next step to ensure completion.
• Foster Relationships: Manage and nurture internal and external relationships across departments, customers, and suppliers to achieve flawless execution and tangible results post-authorization.
• Coordinate Customer Programs: Collaborate with internal and external partners to utilize timelines and checklists, ensuring customer programs are developed and launched successfully.
• Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal protocols and policies and compliance with external client and customer requirements.
• Meet Critical Deadlines: Take ownership of deadlines to ensure timely completion of all key tasks.
• System Setup: Accurately establish and maintain items within internal, customer and vendors systems to support smooth operations.
• Optimize Vendor Utilization: Identify opportunities to leverage vendors and partners better to drive increased sales.
• Ensure Seamless Handoffs: Facilitate smooth program transitions to Logistics, ensuring continuity and efficiency.
• Sales Analysis: Responsible for using NPE templates to analyze sales data and trends. It is the responsibility of the Logistics Manager to use this data to identify the +/- of each item’s performance and proactively work with internal sales and external merchants on action items that are derived from the sales data.
• Inventory Management: Responsible for managing inventory to an exact WOS at the warehouse(s), DC’s and store level using all applicable sales metrics available to NPE.
• Autonomy: Goal is to have the team member fully responsible for decision making for the assigned Accounts/programs/vendors.
Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Product Management or Supply Chain Management of tangible goods, Project Management, Product Development, Sales Analysis, preferably in CPG/Food Industry
• Strong knowledge of product development processes
• Risk management, results driven & detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent computer skills, capability to express complex matters in clear and understandable language, excellent presentation and writing skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, handling multiple job priorities, performing a variety of tasks and meeting required deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
