Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as an Engineer I, QA, and help us make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This is a core shift role, with the potential for flexible hours, allowing for growth and success in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform detailed root cause analysis into quality issues, document investigations, and successfully implement appropriate CAPAs to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate within packaging and supply chain teams to carry out root cause analysis for deviations, ensuring flawless processes.
- Conduct trending analyses and identify any reoccurring issues to improve our world-class quality standards.
- Ensure all TrackWise items are promptly submitted, maintaining outstanding quality metrics.
- Author and approve process changes in eDMS as required, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver additional training to operatives as needed, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Attend tier boards and other meetings as required to determine and address quality concerns.

Minimum / Preferred Experience
- Extensive relevant experience in operational areas, demonstrating a proven track record.
- Knowledge of GMP / SAP environments, showcasing your ability to compete in a highly regulated field.
- Experience with relevant systems, including TrackWise and electronic Document Management System (eDMS).
- Background within Quality, emphasising your dedication to maintaining high standards.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively share insights and solutions.
- Good standard of English (written and verbal) to ensure clear and concise documentation.
- Outstanding attention to detail to identify and address quality issues.
- Ability to analyse problems and define solutions to maintain our flawless quality standards.
