WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an Operations Reporting Analyst to join our office in Beaverton, Oregon. Our organization relies on the incredible people in this role to keep us on top of performance of our supply chain with the extraordinary visualization of the data. Our best Operations Reporting Analyst can harmonize with teammates in business to develop the most effective data and reporting which distill insights from data.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will build data and reporting solutions such as operational reports, dashboard and scorecards to support performance management and portfolio management processes of APLA Supply Chain Innovation. You will be responsible for maintenance and improvement of such tools.

You will provide ad-hoc analysis including visuals to answer business questions from the performance management process to analyze route cause and propose potential actions. Such ad-hoc analysis can be explored in Thought-Spot, Excel etcOnce it is shown to work, you will supply to build a long-term tool, which may involve Global and Geography technology teams. You may give to craft and develop back-end data consumption structure to ensure the visualization needs.

You will also continuously explore better way to consume, visualize and analyze data. You will actively participate in APLA Data and Analytics Community of Practice forum, where multi-functional data and reporting guides both from the US-based APLA headquarter and the countries in APLA meet regularly to share standard methodologies and learn from each other. You will proactively engage in this forum to share your knowledge and to help the team to address problems.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will report directly to the SCI Reporting and Data Manager in APLA Supply Chain Innovation. Daily, you will work closely with the rest of business users both in APLA Supply Chain Innovation and multi-functional business teams in APLA Operations and Logistics. You will partner with Global and APLA Technology Teams to build the solutions. You will also collaborate with the reporting and data analytics peers both in US-based headquarter and countries in APLA through the Community of Practice.

What you bring
  • A bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management or Business Management and minimum of three years substantial work experience. Experience in benchmark metrics in supply chain organization is needed or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Possesses up-to-date technical skills to develop, operate and lead reports, dashboard and scorecards by Data Analytic software such as SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services, aka: Microsoft Report Builder) and Tableau. Experience in Thought Spot, SQL Server, T-SQL Coding, Alteryx, ETL, Snowflake, Teradata, Cognos is a plus.
  • Strong report writing, visualization and analytical skills. Demonstrate an ability to generate excellent reports that answer to business questions most efficiently. Visualization skill to show trends, patterns, and outliers in data by using visual elements like charts, graphs, and maps to distill insights from data.
  • Ability to understand the business questions and problems of supply chain, and to translate them to technical solutions. Ability to communicate technical topics in a simple language that non-technical business teammates can understand.
  • Experience with problem-solving and resolving difficult issues with solution-based mentality.
  • Accept and lead innovation and change. Benchmark and research topics of relevance for standard processes and innovation. Engage, solicit ideas and influence across our division to identify, develop and deliver new capabilities or methodologies
  • Self-starter who doesn't need explicit instructions. Willing to work within some ambiguity
