Operations Specialist I

Forrest T. Jones & Company, Inc., and its affiliates ("FTJ"), provide insurance and insurance related services to clients, corporations, employers and individuals. These services include providing benefits through innovative life and health insurance plans, financial services, and customized insurance products for niche markets.

Position Summary

Responsible for accurately handling outgoing and incoming documents to and from our customers and company associations - documents must be completed on a daily basis.

Expectations

• Prepares and mails customer policy certificates following system issue instructions.
• Prepares and mails checks issued to customers for claim payments, premium refunds, and annuity payouts.
• Maintains logs for all check mailings.
• Reviews and completes all requests for Marketing Documents requested by potential customers and various associations.
• Enters tracking information from customer applications onto marketing database to allow marketing reports.
• Prepares customer premium notices and reactivator notices for mailing.
• Completes back-up duties at switchboard.
• Prepares Marketing documents for special mailing upon request from Marketing.
• Maintains accurate marketing documents with coordination from corporate marketing unit.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

• Computer skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Requisites

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of prior experience
