- Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
- Assist with gathering and analyzing data (field work) concerning facility and production equipment resource consumption (eg. water, electricity, natural gas, fuel, compressed air) and related variables (eg. production output, hours of operation, weather, facility square footage).
- Support project coordination and contribute to the development of efficient facility operations strategies and influence achieving the organization's sustainability goals.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to assess the energy footprint of specific building or operation systems and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Provide developments to new or modified energy and water efficiency projects, including financial analysis, that will positively impact the organization's sustainability metric.
- Develop hands-on experience in the resource efficiency of building and manufacturing systems, providing valuable insight into the field sustainability.
- Learn about energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability assessments.
- Learn about the U.S. Department of Energy Better Plants program and associated tools and resources.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
