Operations/Strategy Manager

Responsibilities: 

• Support President Directly: Act as a primary point of contact and provide comprehensive support to the President, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents and presentations. 
• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth execution of key initiatives, monitoring progress against goals, and identifying areas for improvement. 
• Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives. Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. 
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers. Translate documents, emails, and other materials as needed to ensure effective communication. 
• Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to drive project success. 
• Domestic Travel: Travel domestically as required to support business operations, attend meetings, conferences, and events, and represent the company professionally to stakeholders. 
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements. 
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of key operational and strategic initiatives. Monitor performance trends, identify areas of improvement, and propose actionable recommendations. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred. 
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, strategy development, or consulting roles. 
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Willingness to travel domestically as required.
