Position Summary: The Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of machinery, equipment, or systems within the facility. This role ensures that production or operational processes are carried out in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. The Operator monitors equipment performance, performs routine inspections, and reports any malfunctions or irregularities. Additionally, the Operator may be required to perform basic maintenance tasks and collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a safe work environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate machinery, equipment, or systems according to established procedures and safety guidelines. • Monitor production processes and equipment performance to ensure optimal efficiency and output. • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to identify and address deviations or issues. • Perform basic maintenance tasks and notify maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions or repairs needed. • Accurately record production data, equipment readings, and other required documentation. • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a clean and organized work environment. • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with process improvements as needed. • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives. • Respond promptly to alarms, equipment issues, or process deviations to minimize downtime. Job Qualifications Education: • High school diploma or GED required. • Prior experience in an operational, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred. • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery or equipment operations. • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, technical documents, and safety guidelines. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Experience and Competencies: • 1–3 years of experience in an operations, production, or manufacturing environment preferred. • Experience operating machinery or working with production systems and tools. • Familiarity with safety practices, quality standards, and operational procedures. • Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying issues quickly and taking appropriate corrective action. • Teamwork: Works collaboratively with others to achieve common goals and support production needs.
