Are you a general Ophthalmologist?
Join our team - We are seeking a talented Board-Certified Ophthalmologist.
As a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice, they offer specialization in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, glaucoma, ophthalmic plastic surgery, contact lenses, general eye care, and eyeglasses dispensing.
Located in: Northern California (Chico, CA)
The community has a small-town living and developed into a vibrant center for business and cultural activities. There are many enjoyable recreational opportunities in and around Chico. Bidwell Park, one of the largest parks in the nation and offers numerous trails for biking, hiking, and equestrian use. Additionally, Sacramento is a short one-and-a-half-hour drive, while Lake Tahoe and San Francisco can be reached within a few hours.

The Board-Certified Ophthalmologist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating conditions and diseases of the eye.
This role is perfectly suited for both experienced physicians and recent graduates who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and advancing their expertise in the field of ophthalmology.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and managing diseases and conditions of the retina, macula, and vitreous.
- Performing specialized surgical procedures to treat conditions such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Providing patient education on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participating in clinical research and contributing to the advancement of retina specialty through publications and presentations.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements, technologies, and treatments in retina care.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while maintaining the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in ophthalmology.
- Fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery is highly recommended.
- Experienced and recent graduate physicians welcome to apply
- Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
- Strong commitment to patient care and an ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in clinical research and a desire to contribute to the advancement of the retina specialty.
- Valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state.
