Geisinger’s Ophthalmology department in Northeast Pennsylvania is growing and adding to the team. We are seeking Optometrists (doctor of optometry, OD) to join our practice location in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Job details

• Geisinger’s Department of Ophthalmology is a driven, successful and growing multi-specialty group with both optometrists and ophthalmologists, including Cataract / Comprehensive as well as subspecialists in Retina, Glaucoma, Cornea, Oculoplastics, and pediatrics.
• Ability to take on a growing practice
• Experience or Residency training preferred
• Our highly trained Optometrists practice medical optometry, to the highest scope of practice, working closely and co-managing patients with our ophthalmologists.
• State of the art diagnostic testing, including OCT, Pentacam, Visual Fields, and Optos Fundus photography
• Position supported by ophthalmic technicians who will provide patient work up and testing
