Job Summary We are seeking a dedicatedOR Registered Nurse (RN)to join our surgical team. This role is critical in supporting a smooth and safe operative experience for both patients and surgical staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a passion for working in a collaborative perioperative environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care and circulate during operative procedures • Prepare and position patients for surgery in accordance with established protocols • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure efficient surgical flow • Ensure surgical asepsis and patient safety are upheld throughout the perioperative process • Support surgeries in a variety of specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, and UrologyWho We Are Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Main Street is part ofUnited Surgical Partners International (USPI), which partners with physicians and healthcare systems nationwide to deliver high-quality surgical care in outpatient settings. Required Skills: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing) • CurrentRegistered Nurse licensein the state of Texas • BLS (CPR) certification required • ACLS certification requiredwithin 6 months of hire (if not already certified) • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills • Effective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills • Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and anesthesia considerations • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure • Proficient in navigating surgical instruments, OR protocols, and patient positioning Required Experience: • Minimum1 year of OR experiencein an intra-operative setting required • Experience in circulating and prepping across a range of specialties is highly preferred • Prior experience incritical care or PACUsettings is a plus • Telemetry or perioperative experience beneficial Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
