Our Surgical Services department wants to add an OR Support Tech to their colaborative team. Our ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, be team-oriented, and be willing to help whenever needed. Previous hospital housekeeping experience is highly preferred. 90 % of this position is cleaning.

• 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
• Potential weekend call shifts (as needed)

Overview

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The Surgical Services Department performs emergency, trauma, elective, in-patient, out-patient, and ambulatory/same day surgery. ASD also does pre-and post-procedure assessment and recovery of special procedures patients, and pre-procedure assessment of cardiac cath lab patients. Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, GU, GYN, thoracic, ophthalmic, vascular, plastic, neuro, dental, ENT, endoscopic, cardiovascular, and podiatry.

Role Purpose

Function as a team member in the operating room to support medical and nursing staff during the pre, intra, and post-operative phase, including room turnover, clean and stock supplies and equipment and patient transport.
