**Position:** Oracle Database Administrator

Infotel UK is at the forefront of providing innovative IT solutions and services. We are currently seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and integrity of Oracle databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems and related software.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high levels of availability.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
• Perform routine database maintenance and security audits.
• Support application development teams with database requirements and optimization.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration tools.
• Experience in backup and recovery practices, as well as disaster recovery planning.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Relevant Oracle certifications are a plus (e.g., OCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
