As a Service Operations Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers world-wide. Will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills while troubleshooting technical issues, provide timely customer feedback, and support roll-out of new applications, among other duties.

Working hours: 8 x 5 CET/CEST Europe timezone + on-call support when required

Joining: 

• Provide L2 DBA support in shifts and on-call support.
• Managing the database availability and performance, including incident and problem management.
• Possess good communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tickets as per customer SLAs.
• Must have good Oracle RAC & Data Guard Golden Gate experience.
• Required to know how to troubleshoot Oracle 11g /12c/19c RAC clusters DB.
• Experience in RAC data guard and standalone in ASM /non-ASM.
• A good knowledge of Daily monitoring activities (Backup, Space alerts, snapshot refresh, and alert log).
• Experience in Oracle backup and recovery scenarios using RMAN/Golden Gate in Failover/switchover activity.
• Required to know SQL/NoSQL MongoDB and PostgreSQL database tasks.
• Experience in code migration, database change management, and data management through the monthly stages of development.
• administer and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard/Golden Gate for disaster recovery.
• Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring for large DB environments.
• A good knowledge of DB Data Guard site for Disaster Switchover & Failover.
• configuration & troubleshooting of Oracle products and patches, including Oracle 12c, RAC, ASM, Cluster ware upgrades.
