Oracle DBA

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and proactive Oracle DBA with strong interpersonal and technical skills. He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration, maintenance, security best practices, create SOPs and other documentation, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, TX or be willing to relocate
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 3 years' experience as Oracle DBA

• Experience in Oracle standby maintenance and Data guard configurations
• At least 2+ years of experience in MongoDB Administration and on-call support
• Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting replication in Oracle using Goldengate
• Background in building large database infrastructures supporting high volumes of transactions in a mission-critical environment
• Expertise in optimizing and performance tuning of Databases including drill-down analysis
• Good knowledge of backup and recovery techniques

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below location will be:
Sunnyvale, CA $90825 to $139208.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
