Job Description
The responsibilites of the Order Processor is to ensure orders are both accurately and timely entered. This role will verify order forms are complete and prepare documentation for the fulfillment associates.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processing of incoming orders to create picklists and manifests within the cannabis tracking system for outgoing deliveries
- Navigating between multiple software programs for complete and accurate data input
- Labeling: Preparing manifests and assigning the correct tags for packages
- Order tracking: Keeping track of order progress and providing updates to customers
- Warehouse maintenance: Ensuring the warehouse is clean and orderly, and that products are stored properly
- Communication: Communicating delivery updates to the sales team
- Coordinate with the management team to discuss inventory management plans and methods to reduce errors and maximize inventory efficiency.
- Strong time management skills and multi-tasking in a busy office environment

General
- Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain medical marijuana work credentials – applicable marijuana licensing regulations may disqualify individuals with certain criminal convictions.
Education/Experience:
- At least 2 years of data entry, inventory management or related experience
- Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred
- Metrc experience highly preferred
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic
- Must have exceptional problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong date entry skills and attention to detail

- Warehouse environment with artificial lighting and ventilation
- Potential for mold exposure.
- Potential for allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to the marijuana plants
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) may be encountered. CO2 can displace oxygen at high concentrations. CO2 exposure can cause symptoms such as headache, dizziness, rapid breathing, and increased heart rate; in extreme cases, unconsciousness and death can result.
- The warehouse is properly ventilated, however, marijuana cultivation produces ozone from the chemical reaction of nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds, such as terpenes that are given off from the marijuana plant. Terpenes and nitric oxides can be associated with eye, skin and mucous irritation. In some people, ozone can cause decreased lung function and/or exacerbate pre-existing health effects, especially in workers with asthma or other respiratory complications. PPE in the form of respiratory protection may be recommended in certain parts of the warehouse.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to tolerate moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Exposure to long periods of bright lights. Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones.
