OT Network Architect

Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced OT Network Architect/Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role will primarily be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our operational technology network while ensuring the highest levels of cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both OT architectures and cybersecurity best practices.

• Design, implement, and optimize OT network architectures in line with business objectives and operational requirements
• Implement cybersecurity best practices within the OT environment to protect critical infrastructure and manufacturing systems
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure integration of IT/OT networks
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analyses for OT systems and networks
• Provide technical leadership and expertise on OT network architecture and cybersecurity
• Develop and maintain documentation for OT network designs, procedures, and standards
• Train and mentor team members on OT networking and cybersecurity best practices
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or breaches within the OT environment
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in OT technologies and cybersecurity threats and solutions

Requirements

Required:

• 3-5 years' experience in OT network design and implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to design and implement custom OT network environments with a mindset towards cybersecurity
• Knowledge of OT equipment, such as switches (Cisco preferred), routers, LTE communication equipment
• Proven experience in cybersecurity best practices, especially within OT environments.
• Knowledge of Network Detection and Response tools
• Familiarity and experience with Purdue model of Industrial Control Systems and Cybersecurity Segmentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple parallel projects

Preferred:

• Industrial environment experience preferred
• Master's degree or relevant certifications (i.e., CISSP, GICSP, or CISM) preferred
• Knowledge of OT protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, TCP-IP, LTE/cellular, and wireless HART
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and other OT equipment
• Familiarity with cloud-based computing environments, preference for AWS
• Database architecture and DBA knowledge
