THE ROLE: Operations Lead

Shift Structure (subject to change based on business need)---Weekend shift-  Wed- Sat (5:30am-4:30pm)

We're Looking For...

The Operations Lead must be driven, motivated to get the job done, be an ambassador for Associates and own all areas related to the role.  Must maintain a positive, professional behavior as outline in our company handbook as it pertains to all interactions (i.e.- verbal and email communication).  Solutions and group oriented and train employees when necessary. An independent thinker, willing to problem-solve, ask questions, attention to detail and create solutions. Perform all department functions and fill in for other Leads when needed and work cross functionally with other shifts or departments to resolve issues. Partner with Supervisors on any labor moves as it pertain to the department.  Help monitor productivity and work flow. Partner with supervisor on labor moves. MHE certification preferred- or willing to get trained and operate the equipment.

What you'll do....

• Working MS Word, Outlook, Excel and other software
• Create and Maintain spreadsheets
• Identify product using WMS & MerchApp Able to flex to other areas
• Pick, pack, trouble, etc.
• Inventory adjustments
• Direct external partner contact
• Reach out to Supervisor for more work or assist in other areas when core responsibilities are complete- be proactive

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse experience, preferably 1 to 2 years
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Strong verbal, written communication skills and professional conduct
• Can work well independently and within a team
• Proficient computer skills especially with the Microsoft Office suite, WMS and Google docs
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required, may include weekends
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb and descend stairs safely
• Must be able and willing to work on heavy equipment, around moving mechanical parts and within a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work within a climate-controlled facility with the understanding that it is based on outside weather conditions.
• Noise level varies

• Must maintain cleanliness in immediate area and perform other housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
• Must adhere to all 5S guidelines.

• Other job duties as assigned
