Job Title: Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Travel Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM Start) | 36 Scheduled Hours/Week Weekly Pay: $42 to $50/hr Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with HCL Healthcare at Texas Children’s Hospital in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct patient and family assessments using evidence-based ambulatory care nursing techniques. Develop and regularly update individualized care plans. Prioritize and implement interventions in partnership with patients, families, and caregivers. Delegate appropriate tasks to team members to execute the care plan. Educate patients and families on health services, access to care, and available resources. Perform ongoing evaluations to assess outcomes of nursing care. Maintain positive, professional communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) OR Associate’s Degree/Technical Nursing Diploma with BSN enrolment and signed agreement OR Associate’s in a related field accepted by the Texas Board of Nursing License/Certifications: Active RN License (Texas) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA) Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience Experience in outpatient or ambulatory settings preferred Thanks & Regards.
