We have locations in Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston and Houston. Southern Companies is continually growing, and as such we are looking to hire experienced Owner Operators with Class A license and TWIC card for our Jacksonville Terminal. CDL Driver requirements of the position are as follows: • OW cargo • 3 Years Clean MVR • Drug Screening • 25 years of age Minimum • Local/OTR Owner Operator • HazMat endorsement preferred • Must possess a valid Class A license • Requires a TWIC card to enter the Jacksonville Port. • Must be responsible and must adhere to schedules • Required 2 years minimum of Jax Port experience • Must be available to start working immediately as a CDL driver • Must comply with working hours which are consistent with regular port hours • Must be available to work: 5 -6 days per week, full-time status • Required 2 years of experience (minimum) as a CDL driver Class A license What we Offer: • $2,000-$4,000 gross weekly • OTR/Local Freight • Short Haul less than 250 miles • No Touch Freight • No Force Dispatch • Home Daily • Fuel Card • Direct Deposit • Insurance and Plate Programs Driver Sign-On Bonus Program Eligibility: • All newly on-hired drivers are eligible for the sign-on bonus upon completing3 months of continuous servicewith Southern Delivers. • Drivers must remain ingood standingduring this period (no preventable accidents, major safety violations, or disciplinary actions). Bonus Amount: • $2,000 sign-on bonus. Payout Terms: • The bonus will be paid in the following format: • $500 paid after the first 30 days of continuous driving • $500 paid after the first 60 days of continuous driving • $500 paid after the first 90 days of continuous driving • The remaining $500 paid upon completion of 6 months of continuous driving • Bonus is subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. Conditions: • Driver status must be continuous with no voluntary resignation or termination of their contract or termination of their contract for cause during the 6-month period. • Southern Delivers reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time. ***Must have their own truck*** Job Type: Full-time Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per week Benefits: • Fuel card Application Question(s): • Own Truck, sleeper or Day cab ?
