- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules in a brownfield environment on RISE with SAP providing broad coverage across key areas including General Ledger (GL) Controlling (CO) Project Systems (PS) Bank Accounting (BA) and Asset Accounting (AA) while ensuring alignment with financial reporting and compliance standards.
- Design and customize FICO functionalities to address diverse business requirements including integrations with other SAP modules such as MM for Procure to Pay (P2P) and SD for Order to Cash (OTC) processes focusing on system upgrades and migrations within the RISE with SAP framework.
- Conduct comprehensive workshops with senior stakeholders to gather requirements perform fit-gap analyses and develop implementation roadmaps for brownfield FICO projects emphasizing seamless transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing financial operations.
- Oversee testing phases (unit integration and user acceptance) for FICO implementations troubleshoot complex issues across GL CO PS BA and AA
- Provide expert guidance to junior team members on best practices for FICO configurations custom developments and process optimizations to enhance financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate on project timelines risks and deliverables for FICO implementations working closely with cross-functional teams to support go-live activities and post-go-live hypercare.
- Document implementation strategies configurations and user training materials leveraging tools like Jira and Confluence for progress tracking and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with SAP innovations such as S/4HANA enhancements in brownfield contexts on RISE with SAP and recommend improvements to broaden FICO capabilities across organizational needs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance Accounting Computer Science or a related field; SAP certifications are essential.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with proven expertise in core FICO modules including General Ledger (GL) for financial postings and reporting Controlling (CO) for cost and profit center management and Asset Accounting (AA) for fixed asset lifecycle handling
- Strong experience in SAP brownfield implementations across full project lifecycles and deployment on RISE with SAP
- Demonstrated ability to integrate FICO with other modules such as SD for end-to-end financial workflows.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal for collaborating with global teams presenting to executives and authoring technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies; experience with Jira and Confluence are advantageous.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach experienced in multi-phase SAP projects with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions under tight deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning in SAP technologies.
