Role Overview:
At Henrii, we believe the unseen work matters as much as the visible. Each step of the design and manufacturing process is under our roof; this role focuses on what happens when it leaves. Every piece we create is the result of countless quiet actions: careful hands, prepared spaces, precise systems. Without proper care, focus, invention it can all be nullified once in transit. The Packaging and Fulfillment Assistant Lead plays a vital role in supporting this final step of day-to-day operations that allows others to experience our work, and for our practice to thrive.
The Packaging and Fulfillment role is both a place to learn and an opportunity to grow into mastery. You will work within our team of artisans, makers and operators, gaining hands-on experience in preparing and shipping our products with precision and care. From carefully packing items to organizing and labeling shipments, you will play a key part in ensuring every order leaves our studio on time and in excellent condition.
We are looking for someone who sees packaging and fulfillment as a craft in its own right, where attention to detail, consistency, and care all make a difference. This role is for someone who takes pride in getting the small things right, knowing that the quality of the work reflects on the whole team. You will make a meaningful contribution to our operations while building the skills and confidence to lead in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Pack and prepare all outgoing orders to meet company quality and presentation standards.
β’ Label, track, and organize shipments for timely delivery.
β’ Monitor inventory of packaging supplies and communicate restocking needs.
β’ Ensure compliance with shipping carrier requirements and internal logistics processes.
β’ Liaise with shippers on quotes, negotiating rates, issues.
β’ Support improvements in workflow to increase speed, reduce errors, and strengthen customer experience.
β’ Communicate effectively with management and team members about progress and challenges.
β’ Maintain a workspace rooted in order, focus, and respect for process.
β’ Embody the values of craftsmanship, discipline, and integrity in daily work.
Qualifications and Skills:
β’ 1β2 years of experience in packaging, shipping, warehouse, or fulfillment operations.
β’ Familiarity with shipping carriers and logistics practices.
β’ Comfortable with inventory or shipping software (training will be provided.)
β’ Experience in fragile packing (E.g Art Handling.)
β’ Experience in palletizing, liaising with shippers on pickups and deliveries.
β’ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
β’ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
β’ Organizational and time management skills.
β’ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
β’ Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude with the ability to support and guide peers.
