Packing Operator Lead

Luxor Staffing is hiring a Bilingual Packing Operator Lead paying $23 per hour with 1st shift available. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Packaging Operations:Supervise a team of packaging operators to ensure consistent output, accuracy, and adherence to production schedules. • Quality Control:Monitor packaging lines to ensure all landscape products meet quality and weight standards, proper labeling, and correct palletizing. • Equipment Oversight:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot bagging, sealing, and palletizing machines; perform minor maintenance as needed. • Inventory Management:Track packaging materials, coordinate with warehouse or supply chain teams to maintain adequate stock levels. • Safety & Compliance:Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with environmental and manufacturing regulations. • Training & Mentorship:Train new employees on procedures, equipment use, and company standards. • Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to improve packaging efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications: • Mulch bag assembly line experience required. • Forklift experience IS A MUST • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Clean workspace daily • Construction type environment. • Work in all types of inclement weather. • MUST BE BILINGUAL. • Must be able to manage people's time and safety standards. • Must have good communications skills.] #IND456 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
