The Role:

BCW is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Paid Media team in NYC. This person will become an integral team member that will work on a diverse account portfolio ranging from market leading Fortune 100 clients to innovative start-up tech companies.

You will bring an integrated understanding of the PESO media landscape with expertise in PR-driven media planning/buying, traffic coordination, digital publishing, presentation development / delivery, content marketing and large scale budget management. This is an opportunity for someone who ensures paid media strategies and campaigns are executed and managed to a high degree of client delight, while driving the exponential growth of our Paid Media practice.

What is the work?

Paid Media Strategy & Execution
  • Develop integrated paid media strategies and build media plans for campaigns based on client marketing and business objectives
  • Regularly execute, optimize and expand paid media programs across a variety of digital, social and traditional marketing channels
  • Continually grow understanding and knowledge of client businesses and their competitive environment; apply this information in preparing and presenting focused programs and recommendations

Paid Media Reporting & Analytics
  • Lead measurement planning for client programs and provide strategies and recommendations on conversion tracking, UTM tagging, pixel installation and audience development/retargeting
  • Provide campaign reporting and performance insights to help inform future media plans, content strategy and planning
  • Assist with SEO/SEM/SRM audits by evaluating website health, organic rankings, keyword research, website tags and competitor rankings

Business Development & Project Management
  • Serve as a paid media strategist/consultant for strategy creation and act as a liaison between account teams and the SVP, Paid Media.
  • Establish / maintain relationships across our global network to streamline paid media efforts and facilitate network-wide digital media trainings: capabilities, best practices, case studies, etc.
  • Plan / participate in team trainings and organize digital marketing partner lunch & learns

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors/clients and serve as day to day contact
  • Assist in education of internal peers and external clients on paid media and digital trends
  • Build and present concepts and programs, both for clients and for new business proposals/opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and share paid media best practices and POVs throughout our global network
  • Participate in online certifications and professional development of the paid media team
  • Foster/grow relationships and setup/run campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Taboola, Outbrain, Sharethrough, NATIVO and many more

Experience that contributes to your success:
  • Desire to become an internal cross platform thought leader in the areas of paid media, digital, social, analytics and ROI measurement
  • At least 3+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying (social, native, display, and search media) on the PR or media buying side
  • Solid grasp of social, digital, word-of-mouth marketing with personal and professional experience across the digital and social space, and knowledge of emerging trends and technologies
  • Understanding of how to translate paid media platforms, technologies and metrics into succinct, compelling, conversational language for a variety of audiences
  • An individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working effectively on your own and with colleagues, clients and partners across organizations and geographies
