What you'll do:

The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of search ad campaigns for Eaton's Distributed IT and Critical Power Systems divisions. This role will be part of Eaton's growing in-house paid media team, situated within the Social & Paid Media Center of Excellence under the Global Marketing Communications team. The specialist will report to the Global Paid Media Campaign Manager.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in creating, testing, and optimizing search ad campaigns on Google and Bing, as well as providing comprehensive visual reports that include concise write-ups and key insights.

Reporting to the Social and Paid Media Center of Excellence Lead, Global Marketing Communications the key responsibilities include:

• Create high-performing search campaigns on Google and Bing, including account setup, keyword research and refinement, alignment of ad copy to keywords, budget management and bid strategy, creative uploads, and performance monitoring.
• Develop comprehensive reports for marketing teams that are insightful and actionable.
• Establish close working relationships with marketing teams to understand business goals and objectives, new product launches, priorities, and budget changes.
• Analyze performance using data visualization tools (such as Google Looker Studio or Power BI) and propose ideas for improvement.
• Identify best practices for Google and Bing ad campaigns and provide suggestions for enhancing campaign performance.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Google and Bing ads and actively participate in team meetings.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, technologies, and platform updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, analytics, business or related field
• 3+ years of experience managing campaigns in Google and Bing ad platforms

Skills:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Deep understanding of the Google and Bing Ads platforms, with hands-on experience in activating and measuring campaign performance.
• Certifications from Google, including: Google Ads Search Certification, Google Ads Measurement Certification, or Google Analytics Certification.
• Knowledge of how Search Engine Marketing (SEM) integrates with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Technical proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Looker Studio, and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Foundational understanding of the paid media landscape, including paid social, digital display, and trade publications.
