Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of color theory, construction techniques, and be proficient in various painting methods. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications • Estimate materials and time required for each project • Perform plastering and caulking to ensure smooth surfaces before painting • Conduct restoration work on existing structures to maintain aesthetic appeal • Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects including carpentry and masonry tasks • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and airless paint sprayers • Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment Experience • Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations • Knowledge of basic math for estimating materials and measuring spaces accurately • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding is preferred • Background in renovation or remodeling projects is advantageous • Ability to perform maintenance tasks related to painting and fixture installation • Understanding of industrial painting techniques is a plus Join our team of dedicated professionals where your skills will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects while expanding your expertise in the field of painting.
