Painter Helper

As a Painter Apprentice, you’ll assist our painting team with surface preparation, masking, spraying, cutting-in, and finish work. You’ll learn the full process of professional painting while helping us deliver top-quality results to our clients. Responsibilities • Prepare job sites by masking, taping, sanding, and cleaning surfaces • Mix and apply paints, stains, and finishes to walls, trim, and cabinetry • Assist with setup, cleanup, and tool maintenance • Learn to use sprayers, brushes, and rollers safely and effectively • Support the Lead Painter and team in completing projects on time • Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper PPE • Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications • Strong work ethic and positive attitude • Willingness to learn and follow instructions • Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin and nearby areas • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding • Basic knowledge of tools and construction is a plus, but not required • Must be punctual, dependable, and respectful in client homes Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
