Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter with repair and handyman experience/tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and the ability to work on a range of projects, from residential to industrial settings. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site. Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. • Execute masonry tasks as needed to prepare surfaces for painting. • Perform frame carpentry to support painting projects and ensure proper installation of materials. • Handle construction painting tasks in both interior and exterior environments. • Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and ensure a smooth finish. • Repair drywall and other surfaces prior to painting to achieve optimal results. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are clean and functional. • Work with industrial painting processes for larger-scale projects as required. • Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. • Restore surfaces as needed, ensuring longevity and aesthetic appeal. Requirements • Proven experience as a Painter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. • Proficiency in masonry, frame carpentry, construction painting, caulking, drywall repair, and industrial painting techniques is preferred. • Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities accurately. • Ability to read schematics and understand project plans effectively. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with painting duties.
