Painter / Plasterer / Drywall & Construction Worker (Residential – NYC)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependablePainter / Plasterer / Drywall & Construction Workerto join our team on a contract basis. This role involves preparing and restoring luxury residential units in New York City after tenant move-outs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate has proven experience working inNYC residential buildings, with the ability to handle painting, plastering, wall repairs, and wall removals in aprofessional and critical manner. Responsibilities • Perform touch-up and full-unitpaintingin residential apartments. • Plaster and repairwalls, ceilings, and surfaces to a smooth, professional finish. • Remove drywall and other interior wallsas assigned, following building and safety guidelines. • Assist withlight construction or renovation taskswhen required. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in occupied and vacant residential buildings. • Complete all work within strict timelines, especially during apartment turnovers. Required Qualifications • Minimum2 years of hands-on experiencein painting, plastering, and wall repairs. • Proven ability to performdrywall and wall demolition/removalsafely. • Experience working inNew York City residential buildings(apartments, condos, or luxury rentals). • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety protocols used in painting and construction. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work for extended periods. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience inluxury residential move-outs or renovations. • Knowledge ofNYC building codes, union rules, or management requirements. • Flexible schedule with availability forevenings, weekends, or short-notice projects. • Professional appearance and strong communication skills when interacting with clients, supers, or building staff. Job Type: Contract Pay: $200.00 - $220.00 per day Work Location: In person
