Title : Palantir Tech lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python PySpark and Palantir. This is a work-from-home position with day shifts and no travel requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading technical projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

· Lead the design and development of complex software solutions in Palantir Foundry tool using Python PySpark.

· Oversee the implementation of best practices in coding testing and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster their professional growth.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Ensure the scalability and performance of applications by conducting thorough testing and optimization.

· Develop and maintain documentation for software architecture design and implementation processes.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance the teams capabilities.

· Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.

· Implement data processing and analysis workflows using PySpark to handle large datasets efficiently.

· Utilize Palantir to integrate and analyze data from various sources providing actionable insights.

· Drive the adoption of agile methodologies within the team to improve collaboration and productivity.

Qualifications

· Possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

· Demonstrate extensive experience in Python with a strong understanding of its libraries and frameworks.

· Have hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing and analysis.

· Show proficiency in using Palantir for data integration and analysis.

· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

· Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Certifications Required

Certified Python Developer Apache Spark Certification Palantir Foundry Certification

The annual salary for this position is between $[145000 – 155000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
