Job Description
AAA is hiring for a Paralegal to join our team! This role is responsible for assisting the corporation's legal department in many facets of corporate law. This role provides support to corporate attorneys by researching legal matters, performing investigative work and preparing and maintaining legal documents.
This position will work on a hybrid schedule (onsite & work-from-home), and will be based in Wilmington, DE.

- Assists attorneys in researching and analyzing pertinent law documents.
- Maintains legal files and databases, schedules meetings, and coordinates correspondence.
- Conducts legal research (e.g., due diligence, case and factual research, patent searches, responding to queries and investigations, preparing summary reports, etc.).
- Drafts, reviews and edits legal documents (e.g., commercial contracts, agreements, leases, business communications, etc.).
- Manages projects for legal cases, litigation, transactions, etc.
- Prepares legal forms/templates.
- Develops and maintains files, databases and systems to collect, store and retrieve data on litigation, contracts, patent management, etc.
- Contributes to trial preparation.
- Handles discovery and coordinates production of documents to outside counsel.
- Reviews, tracks, and monitors legislation that impacts the company's products and/or processes.
- Updates leadership with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation/regulations affecting the business.
- Assists in implementing changes to contracts to comply with legislation/regulations.
- Provides support related to litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
- Renews and maintains company licensing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of applicable experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact with clients, and outside attorneys.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, looming deadlines and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask.
- Detail oriented.
