Position Information: Position Title:Accountant Reports To:Director of Finance Location:Headquarters are in Seattle, WA This is an on-site position. Status:Part Time / Hourly Position Summary: We are currently looking to fill a part-time role for an Accountant that reports to the Director of Finance. We are seeking a trustworthy candidate who works efficiently without sacrificing accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will work with numerical data, handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines, manage the organization and cleanliness of the office, and make purchases. The candidate should have a firm grasp of financial practices and regulations, possess strong computer, have good verbal and written communication skills. Position Qualifications/Essential Functions: • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable • Reconcile accounts • Build and maintain billing and expense schedules based on project plans • Maintain financial integrity between accounting and project management systems • Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations • Maintain accurate financial records • Manage and approve company credit card expenses • Manage sales and payroll taxes for all jurisdictions (multiple states) • Purchase office supplies and make travel arrangements • Copying, scanning, and faxing documents • Manage the organization and cleanliness of the studio • Run errands as requested such as bank deposits, and mail delivery • Support managers when celebrating employee anniversary and birthdays • Other duties and projects as assigned Education/Experience: • 2+ years’ General Ledger accounting experience, and able to manage workload independently while performing duties with minimal supervision • Experience working with financial statements is preferred • Ability to multi-task and balance assignments efficiently and on time • QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Time, MS Office Suite, ExpensePoint, JobTread, PEX, with the ability to quickly learn new software • Good analytical skills Demonstrated Attributes: • Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment while performing in a calm and focused manner • Demonstrated maturity, discretion and independent judgment, high personal and professional integrity, self-directed and resourceful Physical Demands: • Requires looking at computer monitor/screen for extended periods of time • Requires repetitive motion and use of hands for computer keyboard and mouse • Requires sitting for extended periods of time • Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges Analog Heart is an equal employment/affirmative action employer.
