This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning position teaching just one studentMonday-Thursday from 10am-12pmthat pays$55/hour. This opportunity begins in mid-August for the upcomingfall 25/26 school year. Looking for an early elementary teacher to plan and implement daily lessons across all core subjects for a boy in 1st grade, using the parent’s homeschool curriculum of choice. The parents will supply the curriculum and are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum will be used. However, the curriculum must be accredited and align with state standards. The right teacher will be outgoing and engaging, yet structured and focused. Looking for a self-starter who is experienced with teaching students of this age group, and who has strong communication skills. The yearly calendar will basically follow the local public and private school schedules. Teacher candidates should be state-certified with a minimum BA, and have at least 5 years of teaching experience working with elementary-aged children. (Prior experience specifically teaching first grade is preferred.)
